    Default Google Map Plug in?

    Hi guys, I would like to add a Google Map in which I can place multiple location across the USA. I found a Googles Map under Page Elements and Other Widgets in the Designer Galley. But it doesn't look like I can add company locations to the map. Is there something else with Xara, that I might be missing? Or is there a widget that will work with Xara and then insert into a container page? Thanks for your help in advance.

    Oops, I think I might have found it. Google Map Engine Lite: https://www.google.com/maps/d/

    This is wholly down to what you can do with the Google Maps API: https://developers.google.com/maps/d...s/icon-complex.

    You can also do some limited work if you sign into your Google account and go to My Maps.
    Once you have save the Map, its URL can be used in the IFRAME that Xara creates.

    You really need to do a lot of research on this and follow YouTube Google Map examples to get what you are after.

    Acorn: You are amazing. Here's the results https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?m...FA&usp=sharing

    Now, I found out an iFRAME is and how it works....very cool. But it doesn't work more me.
    Here is the code that I put into the Place Holder > Body Link:

    <iframe src="https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=zooQ7QmabP_I.kGmgnMA_pRFA&usp=sharing" height="500" width="950" align="right">

    <p> your web browser doesn't support iframe </p>

    </iframe>

    Can you tell me what I did wrong?

    But I keep getting this in the IFRAME

    "This content cannot be displayed in a frame. To help protect the security of information you enter into this website, the publisher of this content does not allow it to be displayed in a frame.

    Well, I'm the publisher. However, could it be that Google will not let me display the content because I have the MMJ on one line?

    This is the code that Google gives me to embed your map, and it displays fine

    <iframe src="https://www.google.com/maps/d/embed?mid=zooQ7QmabP_I.kGmgnMA_pRFA" width="640" height="480"></iframe>

    It is google being hyper-vigilant over cross site hacking.
    I was going to say, try removing the parameter "&sharing" but was beaten to a working answer by James D (brilliant).

    Here is another approach, which is no interactive but it is immediate:
    Take a screenshot of the rendered Google Map and put onto your page.
    Crop and scale to the required size.
    Take the URL of the Google Map (https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer...I.kGmgnMA_pRFA) and add this as a link to the clipped image.
    Either include the Open link to a New Window or leave as the default.

    I am reading more about this but chances to getting and embedded interactive view within your site is limited.

    Just to add to James post, you can always get iframe code by clicking on the share icon & choosing "Embed on my site".
