Default Anyone know what is going on with MAGIX?

    Hi

My website (www.theyoungcricketer.com), which MAGIX has hosted for the last 18 months has stopped working. I now see only a blank web page. When I try to contact MAGIX Support (https://support2.magix.com/customer/...325.1434605097) to find out what is going on I get a blank web page as well! This is the same for all major web browsers.

Odds are your probably uploading to the wrong subfolder, or your Magix account domain is pointing to the wrong root directory.

Log onto your account at http://www.magix-online.com/

On the right hand side click "Your Homepage".

Under "Your domains", click assignment next to your domain name, and click FTP.

Select a directory and click save.

Try publishing again, entering the sub-folder name you have just selected. You can also use a third-party FTP tool such as Filezilla to see where your files are being uploaded to and adjust the sub-folder path as necessary. If you still can't see your website, send a ticket with your Magix login details and .web file and we can see where you are currently publishing to and where you should be publishing to: http://support.xara.com/

Thanks for the ideas. When I look at "Your domains" I see an un-named top level folder image with a / net to it. I then click on the white triangle to the left of the folder icon and see a folder with my website name (www.theyoungcricketer.com). I then click on the white triangle in front of that folder and see "Index_htm_files" in bold. (See screenshots).

When I try to access the site on the web I see a blank page, but do see my favicon at the very top of the blank page with the word "index" next to it.

The publish routine does its thing without errors and invites me to view the website (without success).

What should appear in the publish settings?

    I have:

    Your website: http://www.theyoungcricketer.com/
    Optional sub-folder: blank

    I have also tried:

    Your website: http://www.theyoungcricketer.com/
    Optional sub-folder: public_html

    Attached is the web file

    kkeys,

Your index page is blank, so that's the first page the server offers up, a blank page

Rename that page index-blank then rename indexa to index. Then upload.

    Dear Egg

Any ideas how this has happened? When I preview the site all pages are there.

Forgive my ignorance. Do I rename within WD11 or do you mean the files within the Resource folder?

Rename in Xara WD Kevin, then publish the site. I'm not 100% sure that's your problem, but your attached web file has a blank index page.

If I go to your site on Magix I see this and not a Xara created blank page:

EDIT: I don't use Magix hosting, could it be that as you've recently upgraded to XWD11 it's created a new free web space for you?

I think I understand. I see that the front page of the website is named "index a". So I rename that to "index" and the file "index" in the resource folder to "index - blank"

Got it. Not sure how that happened. I'll give it a try.
