Default Help To Identify This Font

    Hi everyone,

I'm looking to identify this particular font.
The letters R & D are distinctive, but I've been unable to find anything close using the various "Identi-font" sites.
So hopeful that someone here may know.

    regards Colin

Coltatts, not a perfect match but from what the font the best I came up with is Informatic Bold. this is not a free font, hope this helps a little. I am fairly certain that you might find some free one that would be reasonably close. Do you need an exact match?

EDIT: You might also try Google fonts Exo+2

EDIT2: here is another free one, oswald

    I'm just good, Larry.

Nah. I have gotten so many requests over time from clients to match this or that font that a long time ago I bought a piece of software after using its trial on old samples I had. It was the best at identifying fonts that I had used--and typically way better than the online sites.

Find My Font, is the name of it. If one needs to do much font matching it's worth it.

It can be setup to look in both the Windows font folder and in any other folders you point it to for local matching. In may case I run with about 300 or so fonts in the windows font folder, and several thousand in two other folders on my computer that my font manager uses for loading fonts. It first looks for a local match and then uses its online database, which is extensive.

In this case, I had the font and it both found the local version and pointed to several online retailers of it. As they all had the same price, I just posted the one url.

Thank you Mike. I agree with the fiirst part of your statement "I'm just good". I will check on that program but mostly don't need it.

There's no reason to spend the money unless it would be used often...if I can help I will.

Another means I use, especially if the font is used by larger companies or organizations, is to see if they have pdfs on their websites. Often times the pdfs will contain the font. And there have been times I have written a particular company and simply asked. Those that do respond often point me to their respective design agency. Either way it's a 1:10 chance of being told.

That's exactly it...Many Thanks to you!

Thanks also to Larry for trying, but it needed to be an exact match.

    regards Colin
