Hello peeps
I am thinking of buying the Web Designer Premium, I only just started looking into it and I have just one question.
Are there any issues with using this software when publishing as an ssl secured website?

Welcome Orelanic.
There shouldn't be. It's a new feature introduced with the launch of WD11. I haven't used it myself but I'm sure it'll be fine.
Secure FTP Publishing Options
Web Designer 11 now offers support for publishing with SFTP and FTPS.

I am sorry I should have clarified my question better, I know that some web building programs do not support ssl protected pages so you cannot use the software to create an ssl protected website or insert some ssl encrypted pages into a normal website.
I need to have ssl encrypted pages on a website but I cannot find any reference how to set it up before publishing, in my old program I just needed to set the address I published to as https and not http.
Is this the same with Web Designer Premium?
Again, I've not used Xara on a secure server so this is just my thoughts on the problem.
You could create the whole site and upload it to ssl site. But if you want just one or two pages covered by the ssl you could build your main site, the non ssl, and upload this to the http on the server. The pages that are required to have an ssl you create within a second site and upload these to https. Of course you'd need links between the two, but just use the same navbar on both 'sites'.

It's just a certificate that is installed on your domain. If the whole site is to be covered by the ssl certificate, then makes all your page links to be https links. If only parts of the site are to be covered, then there would be a bit of work to do because any images need to be served from the secure site too.
What is it you are wanting to do?
It's more about wanting to know how the software does it or how you implement ssl when publishing it to the domain if needed.
No worries I decided to buy it and try it with the 30 day guarantee.
Thank you for your help
Web Designer / Designer Pro only creates the actual website and publishes to domains. It doesn't have any control over your hosting, security, domains etc. Your host however can help you implement a SSL certificate on your site, should they have the ability to do this (some hosts don't, Magix for example).
