Unable to find the filter to match that file with.

Hi,

I get the message: Unable to find the filter to match that file with. Each time I try to preview a site using XWD11 Premium.

I have updated the program to 11.0.1.38998. but no change.

I tried saving one of the new files (Optical illusions) to my desktop and then opening with XDP X10 - it opened OK (apart from warning about a different release of the program), but it worked fine and would preview as usual.

Any help please?

Hi Martin

Usually this is solved by closing the application, then right clicking on the program icon and selecting Run as Administrator. You only need do this one time and it will either work or it won't. But more often than not it does.

That is brilliant, I never would have guessed that as a solution.

May I take this opportunity to express my thanks to you for the huge number of tutorials that have come down over the years.

I always learn best and quickest by doing and experimenting, so your tutorials and advice have saved me hours of work. An hour saved learning is an additional hours production - and I (like, I suspect, most on this forum) never have enough hours!
