Regarding the Xara Photo & Graphic Designer, is there much of a difference between version 7 and 10.

I can't give you any specifics off the top of my head but I am sure there has been a lot of additions between 7 and 10.

Great, its on sale for $14, at Fry's in my area.

Absolute no-brainer .... The background erase in version 9 is worth that on it's own. According to Fry's website though it's $24.99 and even at that it's a bargain.
