Background gitting in my way

Howdy, I'm building a web page and my logo has a black background, I add it to my page and the whole black background covers my webpage Background. How do I make a logo with a transparent background so that i can see my logo text and just the main background???any help is extremely appreciated

Hi NovaCat,

Have you tried exporting your logo as a gif or png with transparency? That would be the only methode I can think of that would achieve what you want.
