New York Designer Milton Glaser turns 83 this year, and you really should know a guy who has been around this long and has given the field of Art, both Fine and Commercial, so very much. In addition to a makeover of the supermarket chain Grand Union and the classic Bob Dylan poster, Mr. Glaser has made a few other contributions to visual communications, such as the I Love NY logo and art directing New York magazine.

Very interesting quote at about Art toward the end: I've always taught is that Art as an activity has social meaning...and the starting point for that is the Hippocratic Oath: Do no harm.
