    Default PS plugin ...would this work in pro 9

    Does any one know if this would work in xara? or do you know of something like this that would create a similar look?

    Hi scruffy, first I've moved this to the plugins forum.

    Second No I don't think this would work in Xara as it is not a plug in per se but rather a collection of Photoshop actions, styles and brushes and icons. At best you might be able to import the icons and use a converter utility that I know of that can extract an image from a ps brush but the actions and the styles would not be compatible at all.

    Filter Forge works as a plug in with Xara( but an expensive one)as well as a standalone and it can create photo realistic textures but not the 3D look. It isn't hard to create an extrusion in Xara and create your textures using FF then mold them to your extrusion. Here is a quick example done in Xara using textures I created in FF. These are two of the springtime textures I donated to the clipart forum.
