    The rendition you did is so good, stygg—the extruded lettering looks like a permanent fixture, not a once-only "Casino Night"—the you ought to call it "Stygg's Casino" and let the poster be the Grand Opening, eh? There really should be a 24 hour Casino right next to a supermarket—Aldi is toying with the idea, I hear.

    Yeah, we Yanks liked the Casino Night so much we drove across the Atlantic to attend, using our airbags as floatation.

    after seeing all of the great chip designs flying around (really nice stuff all-around guys!) i had a second go-around with @Gare's original idea (tweaked very little). besides the attached jpg i even tried a little neon effect...

    Thanks for your kind comments Gary but I was'nt happy with the angle of the Casino Night in #83 so tweaked it a little and added some new boards to the top of the building and three bricks to match the rest of the brick work.

    @stygg—

    Okay. Perfect!

    Now, on to the next level: draw a few party balloons above the signage, tethered to the roof.

    After all, it's you who made this a Big Event!

    @Mikeymopar—

    Innovative to the maximum, man. Love it, and love the font you used within the roulette wheel design. Font Diner? I'm not familiar with all of Stu's creations. By the way, Font Diner has some free fonts on Font Squirrel. You just have to be patient and look around.

    thx Gary and Stygg. and i wish i could say the font is from Font Diner but it isn't. it's Avengeance Mightiest Avengers. just seemed to fit the over-all neon look a little better.

    and i like the idea about @stygg's event to add a little "height" to the composition...possibly dice shaped balloons??
    but then again it's already, imo, solid as it is now

    I couldn't agree more, Mike (is "Mike" okay to address you, or would you prefer something else?), that the Avengers font is striking yet informal, sans serif (which is sometimes monotonous) but exciting...it's an overall educated, appropriate and handsome font you used there.

    I like the idea of cubic balloons. Do they make the usual popping sound when they're spent, or create sine waves from eight tangential points in space to converge and emit a noise similar to "We Are the Champions" by Queen?

    Strike that; the joke is not working hard enough.
