Default Website's Text Formatting Changed (both new and old text)

    Hi all,

For some reason the text published on my website has started to differ from that on XWD (both new text and previously published text boxes). For example I type a text box in a large font in XWD but it is published at 10pt. e.g. the text on the homepage's top left corner 'Discover how Kwoom loans..'

    http://www.kwoom.com.au/index.htm

here's a screenshot of the text in XWD as it should appear online:

There's some major text warping here:

I've trawled through previous forum posts and because this also happens when I input text from scratch it doesn't seem to be related to the known issue with enlarging text boxes. I've cleared the cache, checked the site on multiple devices and even updated to a more recent version all with no luck!

    Thanks in advance,

    Eshan

    Welcome to TalkGraphics

Your post was moderated because you added links which normally is not permitted for brand new members.

I do not see the same thing you have pointed out in your screen capture. Have you tried pressing F5 or Ctrl F5 to refresh the page? Sometimes when you republish a page the previous version is in your browser cache and can cause some problems such as this.

Yes, I've tried F5 / CTL F5 also. Apologies for the screenshot above, it's showing the bottom of the homepage which also has distortion of the text which reads 'Kwoom is an approved CIO member...'

The distortion I mentioned above is here:

The text on the top left corner is appearing as type 10 font instead of 40 as in XWD.

    Thanks,

    Eshan

What font are you using? You can try grouping the text which will force the text to export as a bitmap.

This seems to be affecting pretty much all fonts (Times New Roman, Arial, Tahoma), the text on the top left corner of the image is Arial type 40 but showing as an italicised type 10.

I did consider grouping the text but because this issue is occurring throughout my website, by making text blocks into images this would negatively affect my SEO.

    Appreciate your assistance!

    Everything looks fine here.

Solved! Turned out to be a bug in XWD 9 - I upgraded to version 10 and everything's back to normal.

    Thanks for your help,

It can't possibly be a bug if your site appeared fine to others.
