Fade effect slideshow - transition times and 'white flash'

Hi All,

I'm using the fade effect slideshow in Xara Web Designer 9.2.6. DLx64 (actually, a modified version of the slideshow widget provided by a forum member here that has the annoying number boxes removed)

Is there any way to:

1. Change the timings of the slideshow so that the images cycle through more quickly than the default rate?
2. Remove the 'fade through white' transition (for want of a better phrase)? Basically, as the images transition from one to the next the fade seems to go through a white image by default. I have set a series of images to transition through in a flickerbook style of animation so that new elements of the first image appear as the slides transition, so its a little annoying having the images flash white in between.
