Default A Must-Watch video that restores Faith in Heroes

Alex is a 7 year old who was born with a partially developed right arm.

Albert is a bionics engineer who printed him a prosthetic that looks like Ironman's armor.

Robert Downey Jr. delivered the arm to Robert in person. And Downey posted this video on Twitter today.

This stuff is fiction come true:

Robert Downey has a meeting with Alex

Look at who the manufacturer of the arm is on the case.

This is getting so many hits you might need to be patient for the video to load.

I click on the link, and I get sound, but no video.
So, I hope Gary doesn't mind, if I post a YouTube link.

EDIT: I've checked a few things, and it's a browser issue on my Laptop.
So, Gary's link is probably OK on your computer.

No apologies needed, Rik, you’re good. Hey, all I did was find the link. I have a Twitter account, that might be one reason, traffic overflow another, and the link is incredibly long, might be over 256 characters. I just swiped it when I was on Twitter and found the amazing story.

You know, Marvel Studios is clobbering Warner Brothers and their DC comics franchise at the box office, and because I’m a comic book addict and have seen them all, I think I know why this is, and the video of Downey with Alex is just another example of an important recipe when bringing a two dimensional character into this world: these actors in real life have heart. They’re not nearly as vengeful, as they are self-examining and downright self-loathing for moments. So what it really 100% acting when Downey gifted Alex with the Ironman prosthetic, or might he just be a nice guy for real? I tend to believe the latter.

These superheroes are the same in real life, and an incident about three months ago goes to show you. Chris Evans (Captain America) and Chris Pratt (Peter Quill AKA StarLord in Guardians of the Galaxy), made a wager on Twitter that whoever's team won a game—Evans was betting on the Seattle Seahawks and Pratt, an East Coaster— was betting on the New England Patriots. Whoever's football team lost, the losing better would have to appear in full costume and character to entertain at a children’s hospital.

So it was a bet in name only—both superheros were prepared to do their duty for a good cause. Pratt lost and the kids loved him and wanted to know why Groot didn’t come along.

My take is that if TV and the movies have turned to superheroes from comic books for 8 out of 10 films, and the actors live up to their roles, I’m real comfortable with this.

We need more heroes as roles models for the Millennium Kids and beyond.
