Would not scale to fit with variants not be a useful combination?

I would rather the size and proportion remained as designed. If you used this for a site with differently sized pages, content would shrink and expand as you navigated through the site.

If I was giving a presentation with identically sized pages, it would be perfect. I'm not comfortable with a website behaving like that though.

A useful answer. I generally go for same-sized pages; I believe is delivering content after the watermark and has scrolling to reach the hidden stuff. Each to his own.

I'd also say that increasingly as display DPI increases, the issue of asset quality is becoming more obvious.

I've noticed on my screen that some of the Xara generated sites have text that appears blurry where it's part of an image. It appears blurry because 'real' text is being rendered at double the density of the graphic version, so in comparison the graphic text looks less distinct. This is an issue for retina screens.

I would imagine that automatically scaling a website would result in some awfully blurred images.
