    Congrats, mikeymopar!

GIFs can play in a pop-up window, but will not play as just embedded files...you need to click the embedded file first. No idea why.
This is due to the forum software creating a thumbnail.
The GIF format has limitations when it comes to resizing on the fly.
Resizing a GIF is not a small task. The software which creates the thumbnails on the server (Imagemagick) would need to strip each frame out from the animated compressed one, resize each frame individually and then put them together and compress to make the resized GIF. So for thumbnails you get a static frame (unless the thumbnail is the same size as the gif).

um hmm. which is why i ul'd my gif elsewhere and insert an image link, not as a thumbnail. but the post went to moderation even tho the preview showed up as good to go. unless something was corrupt somewhere. maybe i'll try again. i just assumed....which, as we all know, is always wrong to do

EDIT: yeppers. something went wrong somewhere. i reposted in that other thread and the gif loaded fine; no moderation popup this time. Thx @Steve.Ledger. Sorry Gary - back on topic....

Thanks for your feedback Gary in #36. The image was not a serious design, I was more interested in how the fonts I used would look in colour and where I used them, as fonts or choosing fonts is not a strong point for me. The fonts I used were, Swanky, Bubblegum, HamburgerHeaven and Featured Item. I also prefer what you suggest with the "Happy Hour" rather than tilting it as I did.
