Hey. csehz, if someone parked a Ferrari in our garage, with the keys on the hood, and that logo...I think I'd keep it.

Some nice images being shown in this thread and I like Rik's bottle of hair restorer so I made two more bottles and made a collection, perhaps Gary can start a new product line and make a few dollars for the Xone annual bash

The composition in whole looks terrific, stygg. I'm particularly blown away by the centre-lighting on the center cap, very photorealistic!

I think we can add to this a wrinkle remover and an old age remedy! Hair restorer would have a hard time catching up with my failing scalp!

    My Best,

    Gary

Thanks for your comments Gary, much appreciated. The shower gel bottle is a tut. by G.P. I did a while ago, when I had hair

You realize, of course, that this tells no one exactly when the tutorial was?

Seriously, a convergence of what you learn often gets you farther than you realize at first. See, you put together a font, label design, and illustration to present a detailed visual idea.

Good for you, five stars, man.

I first came across the Gel Bottle tut. in 2001 but did not attempt it until 2006. I have updated the image by making the labels the same shape and darkened the bottle reflections, altered the trans. settings. Just like to say the "Gary's creations" created by Rik which I used on the two new bottles was achieved by slicing it out of the original then using the background eraser so I had the exact same on all three, really pleased with the background eraser tool

It looks fab, stygg, truly. You followed the steps and then added something of your own. Terrific!

One of these days, I will have to get around to package design: how to draw them with Xara. you know, like the lotion bottle I did for Frances a while ago. These things cannot be that hard to draw. If you break them down, they're mostly pure, solid shapes.
