DPX10 Live Effect filters slow

Hello.

I'm trying to sharpen a photo and I feel the filters are being really slow compared with my Xara Photo.

I installed the DPX10 64 bits version... and it takes 3 seconds to sharp a 200kb jpg image.

any guidance?

I installed the 32 bits version and works fine.

I'll stay with that one meanwhile.

I suspect the issue is not with Designer pro but with 32bit VS 64 bit versions. the 3 second lag might have something to do with the fact that these are 32bit plug ins running in a 64 bit environment. I can live with the 3 seconds

The FX effects seem slower on my computer as well. The main reason I am using the 64-bit version is to see a speed increase in processing effects applied to large images. I must say I have noticed any increase in speed.
