Default How To Create Online Forms Using JotForm

I have been doing a couple of sites over the Christmas period and both used forms so I used Jot Form through the Placeholder. Then I was Stumbling today and saw this: http://www.fromdev.com/2014/12/how-t...ine-forms.html
Well it's not really a tutorial for any Xara products but it gives a reasonable explanation on how to use JotForm. I think JotForm is the right solution for Xara users and it's only a quick copy and your ready to paste into the placeholder with all the CSS & Java script already there. Well worth the look if you haven't already used any of the free online form builders.

I use http://www.formmail-maker.com/generator.php as it is straightforward but can produce quite complex forms. The generated files are dropped as a zip file and referenced from the body htm of a placeholder. Nice and simple

Looks about as simple as possible, Ken.

Yes that's why I use it as I am a simple person. Unfortunately most of these things get over cooked with features that will never be needed. Of course this one is free and does not need buying a pro version to give you all the bells and whistles you don't need

I think French software is best for this kind of thing - they have a very simple FORM-U-LA.

When I was using webdesigner I used jotform, I tried many, many other solutions but jotform was the best by far, and with the thousands of new widgets available for jotform it really is the ideal solution for creating pretty much every type of form (paypal integration is very good for donations etc). the free option is usually more than enough for most people, and upgrade if you need to.

I've made a form for users to send me files, using jotform for the code. I successfully copied the code and inserted the form. Now how do I set it up such that when the user clicks the "submit" button I receive the files? I'm missing a step somewhere, because the form looks great, but, I never receive the files.

    Click Emails on the Toolbar.
Select the Notification or click Add New Email
    Reply To or Recipient settings
Set the email address you require

    OR
You can also use conditional settings. For example, you can have a TOPIC combo and in Conditional settings you can assign an email address depending on the topic selected.
Love Jotform, you can do so much with it.

I must be a klutz, can't get it to send me an email. I've clicked the email icon, selected add email, put my email address in the Recipient email line, went to next window, selected the icon at the bottom - Test Email. I don't get an email.

I'm sure it's an easy step that I'm missing, just can't see it.
