Encouraging design winner

The top winner in the World Design Competition Young, Joo Tak US graduated from my alma mater Art Center College of Design. But under computer literacy she lists the following:

COMPUTER LITERACY:
Cross-platform: MAc and PC. Strong working knowledge in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acobat, and Microsoft Word.
Familiar with FontLab, After Effects, Flash, DreamWeaver, Quark, Microsoft Excel, and Power Point, Keynote.

But lacking in Xara knowledge ;-)

My point was she lists both Mac and Windows platforms. So many designers think the Mac is the only platform. Ms. Young gets it that computers (and software) are just tools to help the designer express an idea. The world's greatest computer cannot produce great design without a great designer.
