I wonder what this font is?...

Hello everyone.

I'm trying to find out what this font is. Some of the letters have possibly been modified for use in a logo, but on the whole, I'm hoping there's enough for someone with the knowhow to spot it.

I dunno.

It might help to know where it came from...web page or company name, etc.

I have never see an 'a' like that, even the tail on the 't' looks a bit exaggerated. For that matter, while I have seen lowercase 'e' characters have the slanted bar, it looks like it has been rotated counter-clockwise a bit. But hey, it looks like the 'r' is untouched!

Like I wrote, though. It may help to know whence it came.

Well, I cannot even find an 'r' character that bends down as great, either.

Thank you for the URL. It is actually helpful. I suspect it is totally composed into those letter forms. Here's what I have done in the past and have been successful sometimes. Contact them. As them if they know the font history of their logo and if they could supply the designer's name. It's a crapshoot that sometimes works.

Once you know the font name...assuming they or the designer tells you, let me know. In the meantime, I'll dig around a bit more, but for now I'm coming up empty.

I went to http://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/ and found lots of fonts with that r but none of them even came close to the other letters, particularly the a.

Looks hand lettered to me. And since it appears on a package label then I am almost certain it is either hand lettered or a font that has been manipulated.

I found a font that has several characteristics of what was possibly used as the basis for the logo.

Thanks Mike. Maybe so but I still think the font was almost certainly manipulated to create the logo. I suppose it could have been hand lettered as Gary suggested, but I don't think so.
