New site created for business

It seems not many people post in this section and when they do it's for an original post dated a couple of years back.

My own my site is live and although in the end it was rather rushed to get in before the new year it looks nice to me. There are three versions; desktop, mobile and tablet. The differences other than the size of some elements is that the desktop site has nice rollover effects (rollover the apple monitors on the portfolio on desktop to view the cool effect), parallax on some elements and slideshow elements on the page hero area. Tablets cannot handle parallax too well so I removed all those effects and all the rollover effects but kept the hero areas for the pages the same as the desktop version. On the mobile version all the effects have been stripped away and the font has been made larger as well to make it readable.

Also you will see that I have kept the portfolio small (the old site had over 100 websites on there), I wanted just a limited number to begin with and as more and more sites I develop use some new features of muse and more unusual sites such as single page and full screen slideshows etc. I will add them later rather than just having a hundred similar sites all posted right from the start. All the sites including this one have the ability to be edited in-browser, with all versions updated automatically (limited to text and pics at the moment) therefore giving the client a simple and easy to use cms. Everything created in the site is muse except the social share buttons which use a 'Share This' widget.

The problem with next year is that I have had word that muse will have proper responsiveness early next year together will a more extensive cms, currently you can change just about everything in-browser: Text, Images, Slideshows etc but unfortunately cannot add to it, so for instance you can replace an image but cannot add one.

Are you using any CMS? or only php/html code for web designing?

At least it gets some attention to this part of the forum.

At least these are on a fairly recent thread. I simply can't see what use these guys are getting from posting on the really old threads but whatever rocks their boat I guess.
