    you can probably do the first in xara given practice using the freehand tool and the wacom, but the second one looks like a caligraphy pen and xara does not have one
    Always like a challenge Handrawn. 100% Xara, 10 minutes, didn't use the trace tool, Only Shape Editor tool & a mouse.

    thing is that is a very loose drawing - if I spent more than 1min making it from scratch with a calligraphy pen I would be worried [about me]

    Well, initially I was going to draw them, but my first couple of attempts were lousy. Haven't tried painter yet as mentioned above. I'm thinking might be more cost effective to buy, if price reasonable enough, looks like you can buy a subscription at some sites. In the end I need svg files, doing a whiteboard animation.
