Pen tool for mask

Hi Folks,

I am hardly missing Pen Tool for Masking photos.
To mask photo details it can be really hard and tricky with only hand drawn mask tool.
Therefore I am requesting Pen tool for creating of mask.
This would make work much much easier to create a polygon around the parts of photo
just like it is to create the graphic polygons with Pen tool.

I am not a programer but I guess that could not be so hard to create Pen tool for ckreating of mask.

I am not sure if this is what you want but there is a Freehand Mask Tool already.

Another method is you can create a mask shape with any of the drawing tools, cut it to the clipboard, apply a rectangular mask to the photo, paste the shape in place and it becomes part of the mask.

This last step is not very intuitive but it gives you the opportunity to create a very precise shape.

You can draw your shape with the pen tool, send it behind an object (bitmap or vector or both), and hit the q key to clip them into the shape.

Thanks for the tips I have never thought of Paen tool as a mask creting tool.
I was always struggling with those four mask tools and has spend tones of time
making exact masks to my photographs.
Now when you showed me that regular pen tool works as mask tool I will save lot of
time.
