    Default Batch operations

I am using PGD 9 and cannot locate a batch operation option. I have approx 30 jpegs from my digital camera that I would like to resize to the same default size. Am I able to do this in PGD 9? Thanks.

if they are the same size to begin with you can use the alignment tool to place them exactly on top of each other - select them all and resize

[or you could manually place them by coordinates, but alignment tool probably easier]

I guess I could do it that way. I'll give it a try. Tks for the quick reply.

You can also once selected, optimize all images, and edit using the Photo Tool > Enhance options.

And yet another way, assuming same sized photos. Requires a bit of maths, but hey you've got a calculator on your computer, yes?

Select one of the images and resize it to the desired output size. Note the Original Width and the Desired Width. Undo the resize.

Divide the (Desired Width by the Original Width) x 100. This will give you the Scale Width %

Select all and enter this value into the Scale Width % input box.

Depends how accurate you want to be as it may give you a decimal percentage size on the Height, which for fairly large images shouldn't make a difference.

    Example:

    Original Width = 1728px
    Desired Width = 990px

    Desired Width/Original Width x 100 = Scale Width %
    990/1728 = 0.5729 x 100 = 57.29
Select all and enter 57.29 into the Scale Width % input box.
All images are scaled to this Desired Size.

Not the simplest but if you've many images to rescale not a bad work round.
