Default Fixed layer mobile Navigation Bar

I have a multi page 960px wide site created using Web Designer 10 Premium. For the Navigation Bar I have selected "Site Navigation Bar automatically links to pages" option. All is fine and dandy.

When I create a 480px website variant I also create a mobile version of the Navigation Bar with just one “Menu” button which expands vertically when selected.

My questions is “how to create a menu effect as illustrated here http://www.media-alive.co.uk “. On this site the Navigation Bar is collapsed down to a single button when the page is viewed 480px wide but this seems to be on a separate layer which floats above the rest of the site content. I have searched the forums and found a thread here http://www.talkgraphics.com/showthre...679#post470679 that talks about the !FixedTab tweak.

Is this where the solution lies?

    Yes and No.

Using the Fixed Layer tweak, you can have a button bar but no drop downs and no mouseover effects unless you are using text, text will exhibit the rollover colors established in Website Properties > Website.

The Media-Alive website was probably created using Wordpress which creates fully responsive sites that alter as the width of the screen is altered. Xara cannot do that.
