Twenty-five stunning repeating patterns are the Giveaway Gift of October. Their creator, Member and TG Moderator Christine Farrelly, took our font collaboration, the Celebrated Burgeon Ornaments TG, and used a technique that’s top secret (!) to turn portions of the characters into elegant seamless tiling patterns. Come get more than two dozen winners for your next Fill tool need!

Show us how you use these textures in the TalkGraphics Xara Xone forum for this Giveaway and be sure to thank Christine for this great collection.

I'd like to welcome Christine to our ever-expanding list of Giveaway content creators here on Xara Xone, and to thank her for the marvelously novel patten tiles this month. The intricacy of them are refreshing and they're actually quite useful to fill and shade shapes of all kinds!

    Just downloaded the seamless tiles.
    Thanks indeed, Christine.

I'm not sure when or where I'll use them, but, I did want to thank you for your hard work, and the superb gift.

Thank you Christine for the tiles which are really cool, especially when I viewed what Gary had done in #2.

Okay, that was using one of Christine's patterns to a 3D model using it as displacment mapping, which makes my effort interesting but 100% outside of our favourite program! :)

I think this is 3D(ish) and all I did was modulate the colours and use the 3D Bump Live Effect. You could also Emboss the thing, and then make a copy so then you can Contone it:

I'm particularly jazzed about using some of these patterns on walls in my modeling work, and restaurant menu borders, when The Four Seasons and Chili's need my talents.

    ;)

Used one of Chritine's tiles then applied 3D Bump Map and Emboss.
