in a nutshell : when you have a default document with pixels set, the pixel units do not persist when editing a within a group

As far as I can see edit inside has always used its own display units.

When edit inside is invoked it creates a new temporary document and copies settings from the source document but the configured units in the source document are not copied into the temporary edit inside document.

sorry for bumping this thread but it's the closest that i found doing a "search"...

any way yet to get the "Edit Inside" to mimic the options from the original template that it's coming from? essentially the original uses px but the "edit inside" opens up using cm as mentioned above. i didn't find anything in xara files or in the registry or searching the topic

using DP11 if it matters. thx
