Default Xara DesignerPro9 & Crossover - any recent experiences ?

    Hi there,
I checked the forum with search and found several posts dealing with, how to run XDP9 on Mac. I understand that "Parallels" might be an option. Crossover sounds like an option, but older posts here release some limitations, which may decrease the fun to work with XDP9. So I wonder if there are more recent skills someone has and can share with using XDP9 and Crossover ?

    Background:
I intend to buy me a Mac and just collecting what could be the best option (performance/cost) for me in regard to continue to run XDP9.

    Thanks,
    Holger

    Hi Holger

I have always been a Windows/PC guy, but here is a link to the Crossover forums. Probably a lot more Mac/Windows users here http://www.codeweavers.com/support/forums/

Perhaps some of them are running Xara on their Macs.

I just bought a MacBook Pro and am very pleased using Xara in a virtual PC under VMWare Fusion.
There is an "unity" option inside Fusion, which shows Windows applications just as if they were "native" Mac OS.
Bytheway: speed is not a problem!

    bye:maak.
