Default How to replace 'index' text next to Favicon in browser

    Hi there

How can I add my company name (to replace "index") next to the favicon.
I managed to do this ok in WD 8, but can't find how to do it in WD10 Premium

    Many thanks

    Cat

    Hi Cat

Make sure you give each page a unique title. And a unique Description. This is what shows up in the tab next to the Favicon and if a visitor bookmarks a page.

See you've already done it. The ico would be better if it had a alpha.

Hi Egg, sorry for being a bit dim! - can you elaborate a bit further as i'm not sure I understand what you're describing.

    Thanks so much

Sorry, I just meant your favicon ico would be better on a transparent background

Hi, I think I'm going daft here now. Isn't this your website?
    http://www.calabashevents.com

The name of the company & the favicon is already there. All I'm suggesting is that the favicon ico would be better transparent. You should be able to make it look better, I just had to remove the white background as best I could.

Ahh I see where you're coming from. Yes this is my site though it was made on WD Premium 8, and I'm currently updating the site on WD10 Premium! I don't have photoshop, so i don't think i can remove the white background that easily, but i will have a play.

    Thanks again
