Default How can I convert a (fat) line into a new 2D shape based on 'fatness' of the line?

    Hi

If I draw a line, and then make it a really fat number of pixels wide, is there any way to turn the border of the line into my new shape?

i.e. I want to draw a complex wavy line and then create an actual shape that uses both sides of the the edge of the line to become my new 2D shape.

    With thanks

    J

Further to mwenz's comment, I hope this will help:

    Yes

"Convert line to shape" is exactly what I need. For some reason I didn't know about that... Brilliant - many thanks.

Btw, love that explainer video, Egg... Respect.

PS. Out of interest what tool did you use to create it? And is it expensive?

    Cheers J,

Screencast-O-Matic which is free but I use the Pro version which is only $15 per year. I find it excellent.
