Sounds like a "feature".
I think there are several problems with the built in browser. If the e-mail is working correctly when you use the other browser options (available if you have the browser or browsers installed), then you are good.

Hi browj2,
I think this is a similar bug to Firefox opening two identical windows when opeing a new window tab. Xara are about to release an upgrade which hoepfully fixes this issue.

Hi all,
I'm trying to get some text - "contact me", which is part of a short paragraph - to link to email - I used Egg's example on page 1 of this topic.
In the preview and in Chrome, when clicked, it just opens a new browser page - any help appreciated
Here's a sample....
mailto.web
Many thanks,
Mike
Anyone? Please?
I think the biggest problem with using mailto links is it assumes your visitor is using an email client like Outlook Express, Outlook, Thunderbird, etc. Many people don't use these programs, but browse their email on line using gmail etc. (This is to the best of my knowlege, but as often, I may be wrong)
Better off using a form.
