Pop Art Einstein

I am writing a journal article on the history of physics and need a modern-looking pop art portrait of Albert Einstein that would look good in color or B&W (in case the journal only allows B&W for my article). I would prefer it based on a photo, Andy Warhol style, so not a caricature of free hand portrait. The first images is what I wanted to use but the artist will not respond. The second is what a might have to resort to: a quick Xara photo manipulation I did myself in 15 minutes but will touch up. The winner may be selected to be part of my article with full credits but no money (academic).

I know the first one is much better. The first one is on DeviantArt but the artist hasn't responsed to my inquiries. I would like to use his work (the first one) but cannot unless I get permissions. That is why I am asking anyone here if they want to try a pop art portrait of Einstein with a chance that might get published in a leading radiology journal in an article I have been asked to write by their editor.

I am probably going to go with this, which was made using Xara and then some Photoshop color changing.


This previous Xara sketch I drew looks too much like fan art.
