Default A link on a page

I'm not sure I've got the right title, but I do have a question.

I'm using Designer Pro X9, and I want to create a link on a page, that takes you to another part of the same page, say a bit further down.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

    I approved your post Rik.

What you are referring to is called an Anchor.

You find a graphic or text where you want to add an anchor, and give that graphic or text a name in the Names Gallery.

Then you link to Anchor > the name of the anchor.

For text in a text area, highlight the text then right click and select Names. Give this selected text a name.

Then Link > Link to Anchor and select the name of the anchor to link to.

Moved to the Xara web chat area. The web gallery is for finished sites that you want to display.

Thanks for the info, Frances. I posted there in error.

    That's perfect, Gary.
    I got it to work.

I did look in the Help section, but, what it doesn't say there, is that you need to click on the 'Link Properties' icon.
