Default My re-designed site using WD10P

After a few problems getting layouts right for the tablet/phone version of my site, I'm pretty happy with the end results.
I disabled "retina images" as tthis made my computer hang - I guess because it' such an image intensive site...
    C&C's appreciated.
    Many thanks,
    Mike

Beautiful work and a very handsome site Mike. Congratulations.

I would caution you to add a copyright statement and/or symbol to your work to prevent people from using the images. See attached.

I created the transparent © symbol, filled it with 50% Black, applied a Bevel, then applied a 90% Brightness transparency.

Thanks for your comments Gary - appreciated.
That image plus 1 or 2 other new ones slipped through the net - on all my other images, I have a logo at the bottom left or right corner.
I considered a larger watermark such as your example, but decided that it "spoils" the image slightly for potential clients.
If people right click and save as, the quality isn't much good for anything larger than a 5x7 print, so I guess I'll take my chances.
    Thanks once again.

I agree about the watermark spoiling the image.

Excellent site! It was nice coming across your website since I too am a fine art photographer/artist. I've been trying to build my site for over a year now. It's a little slow going on my part. Anyway, I really like the cleanness of your site and the fact that you used a white background. So many times, photographers use a black background and while it looks like, it can give a grim feeling when you enter the site. Your site feels uplifting and made me want to browse through all of your images. Nice work!

I agree regarding the watermark and right click situation. I too reduce the size and quality of my images so that they still look great on the computer screen but won't be much good for printing. And, including some type of signature or logo or something will only help promote your images if someone shares them on the web.
