    Default colour on Text

    I have Text over 2 images how do i put colour on text with black outline? Have just purchased designer 10 put on computer today not used to IT, tried & tried!!!!!!!

    just select the selector tool (the arrow) then select the text then click a colour and select "set fill colour" then select black and select "set line colour" then adjust the thickness of the line - hilighted by red circle on pic! .

    you can also fill the text with an image too - copy and paste your image (you can even delete it after you have pasted it) select the text - then goto the bitmap gallery and click on the image then click on FILL - check pic !

    Trukkerz, you missed a step in your first reply. Unless the text is grouped it will only show the fill as html doesn't do strokes. Grouping the text, even though there's only one object, forces Xara to create a bitmap copy on publishing that will show the stroke also.
