Embedding a SimpleViewer (SV) slideshow in WD10P

How do I do this?
Have created the slide show (which works when previewed from the folder I saved it to), then created a black rectangle as a placeholder.
Copied and pasted the SV code into the body of the place holder - then preview the page - nothing.

I think the third party slide show application creates some additional folders. These need to be in the same folder as the page you have created.

So if you publish your website temporarily to a folder on your desktop, then any folders created by the slide show application need to reside there as well.

The script in the placeholder is referencing those folders.
