anybody else having problems with profiles not saving in xwdp9, seems intermittent but the issue is that saved profiles revert back to 'user settings1' etc, driving me nuts.
Just wondered if i am alone.

I've not had that experience. Though I use Designer Pro X9 for most of my web design. And I have not had this problem with DPX9
