    Default Animation issue

XaraX9: For whatever reason no matter what I seem to do I get that white background. I want only the logo I'm putting in with transparency in the background for this anim. Any thoughts as to what I'm doing wrong, or not doing. Thanks.

If you could maybe attach an example .xar file with your tryings that could help to identify the issue closer, but mentioning the transparency maybe used different one than Mixed for a gradient-filled shape. In a flash animation only that is allowed like Gare summarized here once:

Sorry Gilbert, but, a .zar file would be most helpful. Difficult to figure out your problem from image posted.

    Hi,
For animated Gif image in Xara Designer Pro 9, the Gif in question has to be imported as a Gif placeholder, otherwise a static Gif is imported. The animated GIF also has to have been saved with transparency applied.
    For Example go to members.shaw.ca/macgregorj/RCOutlaws.
The RC outlaw logo was created in Xara #D.

Maybe worth to click at gif exporting to the Option button to see whether the 'Make background transparent' button is checked

Or eventually maybe you really have a white rectangle on the background page, that could be checked maybe in line view

Not sure how I need to present it; just a bit slow maybe. The XAR file itself, or in an Animation frame, but the the XAR extension?

I'm going to give that a shot and see if it will happen; have tried everything else. Thanks everybody, and Scotty what you did with that .GIF is great!

    Hi GiiddyupGilbert,
The logo was vectorized in ara graphic dsigner pro and saved to clipboard then pasted into Xara 3D 7 and animated, then saved as animated gif for xara's placebolder.
