Web Designer 9 to Designer Pro 9

I have several sites that I created with Web Designer 9 and are stored in .web files. I upgraded to Designer Pro X9 and now when I open the sites I appear to be forced into saving them as .xar files. Two of the site files appear corrupt now after doing that. Example: The Nav bar which is a repeat on all pages will be missing a graphic on one of the pages...etc. Is there someone to check the xar vs web files?

WEB and XAR are essentially the same file with different file extensions. And there should not be any problems going between programs.

Try this with DPX9. Close the program, right click on the program icon and select Run as Administrator. You only need to do this once and it will either resolve the problem or not.
