    Default How to make transparency as example?

    I have tried many time. How to make transparency as example. It is some kind of shadow but I try to do it with Transparency Circle but could not manage. Need help.

    you need to be in the selector tool

    select the circle and then click on the handle that is circled in red and keep the mouse key pressed whilst dragging it down - the shape should squash

    if you are missing some handles, make sure that the 'show selection bounds handles' button on the top left of the selection tool infobar is pressed - if necessary toggle it on/off

    PS - you need to select the circle, it will not work if it is part of a group and you select the group

    I'm in the selector tool. It is not seen middle to pull down.See my image. Circle has four point not middle part.

    ah well - maybe it does not do that in web designer - sorry - I loose track of the differences

    if this feature is missing in web designer I am surprised, but it is not meant to be a drawing program I guess...

    According to his profile toplisek is using WD7 so the feature may be there in newer versions (I don't have the time to check just now) See the little lock icon on the info bar? click that to disable it and then pull down on one of the top corners and you should be able to squash the ellipse. Also when posting it is always helpful if you could include the name of the Xara program and the version number that you are using. That way others that are trying to help you will have an idea of what features you have access to and can tailor their answers to your needs.
