    Default access violation message

Did anyone have this message? I cannot add or update my folders. Screen shot of message attached. How to fix it?
I already tried to repair XWD 9P, still the same problem.

You might want to email an administrator to move this to Xara Web Design Chat.

I don't add or update folders in Xara, so I am assuming you are talking generally for your filestore.
It is possible your computer hard drive is damaged.
Open File Explorer, right-click on your drive letter and under Tools > Error checking, click the Check button.

    I moved the thread Acorn.

Sometimes a document or some element in the document gets corrupted.

Are you having this problem with a new document? Or is this just happening with one document file?

    Had this error in the past. Xara solution;

Note for customers with hardware that supports Data Execution Prevention:

If your hardware supports Data Execution Prevention (DEP) then please ensure the option is enabled and your xara program is added to exception list.

Right click on My Computer and select Properties
Select Advanced and click on the settings button below the subheading 'Performance'
Select the Data Execution Prevention Tab
Enable the option 'Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select'
    Click the Add button
Browse to the Designer Pro installation folder and double click on the DesignerPro.exe to add it to the list.

Ah, OK. Does this happen with the 32-bit version?

If not, use the 32-bit version. As near as I can tell the mail advantage of the 64-bit version is it can access more memory over 2-3GB and to be honest, even on large files I work with (Designer Pro X9) the speed difference has been minimal.

If you weren't aware, you can download & install the 32bit version as well as the 64bit for no extra cost using the same license key. You can't have both open at the same time.

I don't have 32-bit version. I am not sure where I should install that version.

http://www.xara.com/us/downloads/webdesigner/ Just run the exe and install as normal on your computer. It will install alongside the 64bit version with, as I said, the same licence key
