When i click on the preview button or the export, a error pops up saying "Unable to find the filter to import that file with." Now what do i do. Help will be much appreciated? Thanks in advance.

This has helped other users in certain cases: Close the program and right-click on the program icon and select "Run as Administrator". You only have to do this once.
