help with text/font

Can someone tell me why the text on two of my pages looks dark and blurry, but on the rest of the site its fine? I have tried using different fonts but it still looks bad on those 2 pages. The website I'm making is www.sbsconstructors.com the first page is fine but under the experience and maintenance tabs it looks awful.

My guess is you accidentally grouped the text and it exported as a bitmap (and not a very clean bitmap at that).

Now that I look, all your text has been exported as bitmap.

I'm not sure what you did but select the text and see if the status bar in the lower left corner of the screen shows Group. If so, see if you can ungroup the text and if it is still text.

You are better off with text that is not grouped so that the search engines can determine the content.

Also, make sure the View Quality setting is set at the highest setting.

Thanks for your reply! I do have the text grouped so it would stay inside the lines when viewed on a mobile. I have the text grouped on all the pages. Why are those two the only ones that look bad? I tried ungrouping it, replacing it, and changing the font but still get the same problem. I just cant figure it out. Maybe I'll have to delete them and start over.

Is it possible for you to upload your .web file for us to look at?

It is easier if we can see what you are doing and then determine what is causing the problem.

The text that looks so heavy HAS AN OUTLINE!

Select the text, ungroup it, and set the outline to none (right click in the cross hatched box next to the screen palette colors. If you get a pop-up menu, select Delete Outline or whatever the option says.
