Default Simple request for bitmap fills

Please add "None" to the top of the list. If you want to set a shape to have no fill if it currently is filled with a bitmap, you must first select 'flat fill' then select the 'no color' box on the color bar. This is two steps where it could be easily streamlined into one step.

    Hi Sheff,

In XDP 7, 8 & 9: With the object selected, you can Right-Click the 'Set No Color' box on the color bar and choose 'Clear Photo Fill'.

Fred's tip works so long as you have Utilities | Options | View | "Right click on color" set to "Show Menu". If you have "Set line color" turned on (as I prefer), this menu doesn't appear.

It does clear the fills if one just clicks on the No Fill icon, though.

I also have my options to set not to use the right-click menu. So I just click on the No Fill. If there is no line attribute, it will not easily be found on the page, so I also click on any fill color (unless I know what I want).

Where's the No Fill icon? Is it a dark UI thing?

I use the light UI. I see a 'Set no color' icon, which does not remove a bitmap fill.

Same as the screen shot in Fred's screen shot.

That's what I thought. On my system, the caption says "Set no color", and neither right-clicking nor left-clicking removes a bitmap fill.
