Logo Needed

I am looking for a logo design for my company. The service offerings include both technical and business consulting. The image must portray:

- Profesionalism (Think Andersen)
- Creativity

It must also be easily adaptable to business cards and and letterheads.

The website color schemes are TBD and will likely be driven from the logo.

If I select your design you will be paid a fair price for the design based upon the quality of execution and flexibility.

Here are two quick designs I put together, hence why I am looking for design assistance.

I like the colors of the first one better, but it dosen't really stand-out.

A lil bored, so I decided to make you something. Not very good. But its just one person. Well sorry so big, but the bevel wasnt coming out right at higher compressions!
