    Default Starburst Clock

It's been a while since I posted some artwork in the gallery so here is a wood and brass starburst clock. This drawing contains a little bit of everything some hand drawn reflections using the technique from Gary Bouton's Xara Xone video, some metallic gradients from the set generously donated to the clipart forum by Albacore, bevels, extrusions, transparencies, Filter forge textures and shadows.

You stole my thunder in your very first line.
When I saw this post, I was going to say, "It's been a while since you posted something in the Art Gallery!"

The styling looks as though it's from the 60s.
    Looks beautiful, Frances.

Thanks Rik. I drew this from memory it's based on a real clock in my parents home. And it likely does date back to the 60's

Lovely image Francis, it is very well done with all the "little bit of everything" I really like it.

Very nice Francis. Don't know if it is my eyes playing tricks on me or not but every so often just outside the numbers I see a gap. Looks neat but the gap got my eye for some reason.

    Thanks Everyone!

@ Richard yes there is a little gap every so often in the inner circle of spindles. It was I assume a design element in the real clock so I included it in my design.
