    I used Graeme's file and then ended up creating my own way, which is probably as involved as Graeme's but it's all mine and it works. Thanks Graeme!! [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]

    It was fun and fast, which is the best kind of challenge!!

    Don't ask me why it works! I discovered it by accident.

    My final shapes are not exactly like the original shapes used by Xara Ltd., but a little tweaking should come pretty close.

    Here's my attempt
    I made a blend around a circle, used the perspective tool then converted to editable shapes. I then selected all the inside nodes and moved them away to the back giving the cone shape

    I haven't got time to respond in full at present......I MUST GET TO BED!!!...But I think Steve's got it !!!! Again that's another solution that didn't cross my mind. I've used the same method of moving the inner nodes here, but constructed the original shape somewhat differently.
    Thanks to everyone for the responses, I'll reply in full later.
