Default All of a sudden Website will not upload

XaraX I have changed nothing. I did some work on the site, saved the file and uploaded; actually about 2 to 3 times, exported as well. It goes through the motion just as it always does. When complete I go to the site, reload and nothing shows. Cannot tell what might have happened. Input appreciated very much.

There are some issues with Windows 8 that are causing a multitude of problems with FTP. Xara has issued two updates to address these problems and is working on another update. In short, Microsoft has really opened a can of worms here.

Might be effecting Win 7 as well, though I am not sure about that (or anything else)

Just finished Ann Pachett's new book. She's an author and co-owner of Parnassus Books in Nashville. One of our favorite authors.

The problem is with Internet Explorer 11, which you will have received via a Windows update. Even if you don't actually use the browser it has caused problems just by existing. In your Xara go to Help>>Check for updates... and see if that helps

Gary, will check that out; not familiar Parnassus. It is baffling at the moment. I use Firefox, but I did try IE just to see. Guess I could clear both of them out to see if that'll do. Does the work file extension have anything to do with it? The name of the file is "eclecticarborII.xar.jpg" which in itself I find strange. At one point there has been a pair of those extensions, but it has never made any difference before.

It doesn't matter whether you actually use IE11 or not, Xara was using it to upload websites to your webhost. Xara changed this so try the updates

If that doesn't help - or before if you like - try pressing ctrl+F5, that seems to work sometimes too

Ctrl+F5 doesn't seem to respond to the command. I have the latest upate, short of going to X9. I've cleared Cache and reset both Firefox and IE; will try another upload. Thanks Zapho.
