    Default Artist's Website

The artist is a print maker and works on heavy archival rag paper which I used for the page background.

I wanted the page to be one with the background.

It looks really good Gary, what I think of as a "comfortable" site to visit

Interesting look, Gary, and the site is very easy to navigate. I like the rag paper background and the imprinted buttons nicely reflect the artist's work with the paper press.

I would find it more intuitive, however, if the mouse-down buttons (including the gallery forward and backward buttons) would show the depressed state when selected.

It might also be more fitting if he text on the "Interviews" button would read "Articles" or "Art Reviews".

I would have to agree with boy about the buttons, it's a small thing but would really enhance an already very good site. Well done Gary.

I changed the buttons. The mouse off button now has no bevel, the mouse over button is raised, and the selected page button is depressed (but not unhappy).

The artist wants to keep Interviews.

An expression of artistic license, I guess.

Don't you want down states for the two 'Interview' pages as well?
