Default Otto Walker, Board Track Racer

Customer requested this. His choice to have it done in gray scale, which I think was a good choice for this drawing.
When his final approval comes in, it will be printed on canvas. I've done a series of 1910's and 20's Board Track
    Racers for him.

    That looks fantastic.
Can't add any more to that.

    Very excellent Ron.

You might try something like this to add more drama and focus to the rider.

It's funny you should say that. Just as I was headed for the forum, I was thinking of adding a blur to the background.
    Good call Gary.

    Thanks Bruce and Rik.

Looks the part in gray scale, Ron. Caught all the action.

Looks great Ron, I'm imptessed. I have to agree with Gary however about blurring the background somewhat.

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.

Here's the background with a Blur added to as per Gary's fine suggestion.

Very nice improvement. The only thing left that I feel might also benefit from some change is the exhaust cloud (if that is what it is). As it is now, it is the one thing that my eyes are drawn to continuously and that is too bad. I would try to diffuse it some more and give it some slight contours so that it does not contrast too much with the wonderful details of the racer and his bike.
